The Distance is a new challenging game mode introduced with version 2.7 (in 2017 September). The 21 missions of The Distance are:

Seems named missions are random:

  • with one The Distance, mission1 was Edge of the Woods. With another The Distance (of 2017 Sept 30) mission1 was River Through Stone.
  • with one The Distance, mission 2 was Foreman's Office. With another The Distance, mission 2 was River Through Stone. With The Distance of 2017 Sept 26, mission 2 was Quarry Basin.

mission cost 4 gas.

In hard difficulty:

mission 1: level 17 survivors recommended. Mission reward: 2 badge fragments and 2 badge parts (cloth, edibles or metal) (all 2stars rarity).

mission 2: level 18 survivors recommended. Mission reward: 50,000 XP and 2 badge parts (chemical, cloth or metal) of 2stars rarity.

mission 3: level 19 survivors recommended. Mission reward: 4 star weapon (examples: warrior machete or shooter pistol)

mission 4: level 20 survivors recommended. Mission reward: 5 edibles and 5 cloth (all 2-star rarity)

mission 5: level 20 survivors recommended. Mission reward: 4 star armor (example: for hunter or scout).

mission 6: level 21 survivors recommended. Mission reward: 40 tokens (example hunter or scout tokens).

mission 7: level ? survivors recommended. Mission reward: 60 hero tokens (30 of one hero such as Carol and 30 of another hero such as Maggie).

River Through Stone (armored) Edit

Objective: "kill all walkers".
